India Business Visa
Business visa to India is required for travellers who visit India on business, i.e. selling products or services or establishing contacts on behalf of a company outside of India. Business visas may be issued as three months to one year or more with single or multiple entries. Please note, the period of stay during each visit to India is limited to six months only.You are not allowed to work in India with your business visa, you will need to apply for an employment visa instead.
Note: if are a non-UK national and have been living in the UK for less than two years, the visa processing will be minimum 10-15 working days.
Required documents
| Original passport | Passport must have at least 2 blank pages and be valid for at least 6 months after your intended departure from India. |
| Visa application form | Once you have ordered your India tourist visa through our company you will receive a detailed guidance how to complete the forms. |
| Declaration form | You need to sign the terms and conditions of the India visa centre. |
| Colour photo | Two 5 cm by 5 cm taken against a light background (white or off - white). Important – this is not a standard passport size photograph. Most photo booths do offer photo option of 5 cm by 5 cm. View India visa photo specification. |
| Letter from UK company | The letter should be on a company letterhead, clearly state the applicants name and passport details and should be addressed only to The High Commission of India, India House, Aldwych, London, WC2B 4NA. Nature of business, purpose of visit to India, duration of stay must also be indicated. The letter must be signed by an authorised person. |
| Letter of invitation from India | The invitation letter from India should contain the same details as indicated above for the UK company. |
