Russian Business Visa. Multiple Entry Visa to Russia

Note: processing times. Currently it takes over a month to get a business invitation to Russia, so processing times for a business visa to Russia have been extended. If you need to travel to Russia as soon as possible and need flexibility with your travel plans, we advise to apply for a 6 month multiple tourist visa, processing time – 12 working days.

Russian business visa is a document which allows foreign nationals to visit Russia on official or private business. It is also a solution for tourists who are planning to travel to Russia for over 30 days (tourist visas are issued with a maximum validity of 30 days) or for those who plan to visit the country on multiple occasions not necessarily on business purposes.

In comparison to tourist visas processing time for business visas to Russia is longer. See below for more details and options.

Business visas to Russia may be issued as
  • single entry for 3 months
  • double entry for 3 months
  • multiple entry for 12 months
On a business visa you are allowed to stay in Russia for 90 days within any 180 days period.

Summary: business visas are best for visitors who do not know their exact itineraries, want to stay in Russia longer than for 30 days or need to enter Russia on frequent occasions within a certain period of time.
 

Required Documents

Original passport Passport must have at least 2 blank pages and be valid for at least 6 months after your intended departure from Russia.
Visa application form The form must be completed online now. Once you have ordered your Russian business visa through our company you will receive a detailed guidance how to complete the forms.
Colour photo 3.5 cm by 4.5 cm taken against a light background (white or off - white), UK standard passport photo will be sufficient.

Invitation from Russian Authorities We will provide official invitation from the Russian Migration Service, it is accepted by the Russian consulate in the UK.
Copies of the last three visas If you travelled to Russia before, we will need copies of your visas so we can order your business invitation from Russia.
Non UK – nationals UK residence permit - a confirmation of residence status in the UK. You must provide a residence card issued by the Home Office proving your settled or pre-settled status. If you do not have a physical card you can make a print out from the Home Office website confirming your status and notarise this document. Currently the Russian embassy does not accept proof of address in the UK as confirmation of your residence (recent utility bill, bank statement, letter from your employer confirming your employment in the UK). Prove your status on the Home Office website;

Non-UK national must also provide travel insurance valid for the whole period of stay in Russia. No travel insurance is required for UK passport holders.
Self employed, unemployed Additionally you will need to provide bank statements for the last three months showing a positive balance of at least £1,000. Students, house-wives and retired people are not required to provide bank statements.
Born in the USSR /
held Russian nationality
  • Born in the USSR and never had Russian nationality – a personal statement confirming you do not hold Russian nationality. Download template.
